The School of Mechanical Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso has as its mission the study, creation, transmission of knowledge and training of professionals and graduates of the specialty, in the fields of: design, energy, machines, manufacturing processes, and materials; having like main objective the obtaining recognition by its academic excellence, by the quality in the results of its formative processes and the permanent growth in its own knowledge, where it is possible to perceive in its graduates the distinctive seal of the University, their professional competence in different areas, and their leadership and ability to apply, transmit and update their knowledge in order to contribute to the development of the country.
